Hello,

I imagined this one for the Valentine's, But I thought this could fit for the Fall season, too
Beautiful red color, who doesn't like it...

I am hoping to be at the craft fair somewhere in your neighborhood.

Flowers for Japan

It's been a long time since I've updated my blog. So many things have happened around me.
First, Please accept my deepest sympathies for the people who have lost the loved ones in the Tohoku earthquake on Mar 11.
It's been more than 3 months already but there are still so many things that need to be done.
Not only to recover from the earthquake, but to deal with on going problems at the Fukushima nuclear power plant.
Japan is known as an earthquake country and I have experienced them many times when I was living there.
But this earth quake was so big. the more I read about it, the more I shed tears.
I do believe Japan can overcome and recover from this crisis, because of their strong spirit and their manner that no other country can copy.
It's so hard to see my country suffer when I 'm here in Canada. I just have to believe japan will rise again.
がんばれ日本!

Winter Bird

Hi, there, It's almost end of the year.
This is the same bird cage on the first page of my blog.
I used smaller roses and seagull instead of canary this time.
Well, maybe this is the good move for me.
Because when you search "seagull" on the web, you will find a lots of "seagull" thing.
Like Seagull restaurant, Seagull train, Seagull the movie, etc....

I wish Everybody a best holiday season and coming year.

来年もよろしくお願いします。

Ultramarine

How was your Summer?
I hope everybody enjoyed the good Summer holidays.

Here is blue and yellow combination. This ultramarine is exalted color for me. I like this color very much. I could have used sunflowers instead of yellow roses If I had them.

Just like Van Gogh’s Sunflower.

He used this blue and yellow combinationin many times in his painting. LIke...“ Starry Night” “ Cafe terrace at night” and his last painting “Wheat Field with Crows”etc...

He might have been insane, but he gave us a big inspiration and still giving. I am the one of them whom inspired by his painting long time ago. Van Gogh pushs us up. I can feel it, and it gives me hope. and I hope I can keep making my preserved flowers.

これからも、よろしくお願いします。

Summer Yellow

It's been a month since I got a table at Queen's Park Craft Fair.
It was a good experience for me and I enjoyed it very much.
Thank you to the people who liked my flowers.

So, this month I decorated yellow flowers in my room.
It makes the room brighter and cheerful, I find it very uplifting and good for my spirits.
According to a site on the web about Feng Shui,
Flowers should be put on the west side of the house to bring good fortune.
I 'm not a believer of Feng Shui fortunes, but some of you may be...

This Summer my choice of flower color is yellow.
May your spirits be lifted and have a wonderful Summer!

よい夏休みをお過ごし下さい!

Smile

This is an item I prepared for the Craft Fair, which is May 23, 24th at Queen's Park in New Westminster BC.
I got a table so Please come and see the preserved flowers. Photo frames, Wreaths, Candle Decor, Baskets and much more...

By the way, This title "Smile" reminds me one of my favorite movie stars. - Charlie Chaplin - He said "a day without laugh is a wasted day"
One of my favorite movies he made is called " City Lights". It's a story about a man tried to help a blind girl, who is selling flowers for living. This beautiful movie includes Love, Laughter and Tears. This movie was made in 1931, but we can still feel all of them so real.

Anyway, I hope to see you at the Craft Fair.

PS. You can watch the movie and my Hanaemi on you tube. just copy and paste.
